Road Trip!

When we were younger and kidless getting there was half the fun.  This is no longer the case.  The girls did great but that is just a long time in the car.  However, it didn't take but about 5 min. after arriving for us to forget all about the long drive.  It was such a wonderful vacation.  Everything went so great, and I'm sure I have already filled my laughing quota for the rest of the year.  Here are some highlights of our delightful stay at Papa and Grandma Sandy's house in North Carolina.

Anxiously awaiting Uncle Jared at 11:00 pm.

And if any of you were worried, he is still the same ole' Jared.

We had a picnic at a cabin that was up in the mountains.  It was so beautiful.  We had a great time.  The boys were hitting golf balls off the side of the cliff to see who could hit it the farthest and throwing the football up in an apple tree to see who could knock down the most apples with one shot.  Why must everything be a competition?  It was quite entertaining for the rest of us though.

Looks like you guys had tons of fun! We really wished we could have been there with everyone to welcome Jared back home.

I noticed that Eric (or is "the mom" going techy?) has made some upgrades to the layout... I likey.

You guys are looking as good as ever. We hope to see you all again soon.

I love that piture of the girls with all the fall trees. You need to get it in black and white and frame it.
